  • Chemical barriers formed at foundations, beams, slab-on-grade and underground tank surrounds before pours or backfill, using Dubai Municipality–approved products and agreed rates.
  • Perimeter trenches, horizontal soil barriers and pipe penetration flooding coordinated with your programme so concrete can follow within specified exposure windows.
  • Vertical barriers where drawings call for them (including retaining walls), documented on method statements your QS can reconcile against BOQ.
  • Signed job cards each visit with quantities treated - supporting warranties, audits and facility management handover.

Where barriers cannot be formed during construction - or activity appears along slab edges - technicians inject through discrete drill lines so chemistry reaches soil voids supporting your slab edge zone without dismantling the structure.

  • Survey-led drilling along internal wall–floor junctions at centres typically in the 45–80 cm range (site-specific); holes enlarged until substrate/soil contact for injection.
  • Dosage per square metre follows label and approved detail sheets in Dubai Municipality materials lists - supervised application by trained technicians.
  • Hole-making through finishes requires agreement on marble, tile or carpet zones; holes are capped with cement mortar after injection.
  • Ideal for villas, apartments already occupied, retrofits where pre-construction barriers were disturbed or skipped, or additions tying into existing slabs.

Anti-termite work on new builds and extensions follows the pest control requirements of Dubai Municipality. We prepare site-specific method statements that describe where horizontal and vertical barriers are formed - including retaining walls, slab edges and service trenches - and how each stage ties to your construction programme.

Product selection and application rates use approved materials applied by trained technicians. You get a clear sequence of visits aligned with excavation, steel, blinding, backfill and pour windows so chemistry stays effective once concrete or backfill locks the barrier in place.

Footings and foundations: soil treatment below structural elements before pour, at agreed grammage per square metre, with concreting inside the exposure window set out in the method statement.

Beams and slabs: horizontal barriers under beams and on compacted fill before ground-floor slabs; pipe penetrations, lift pits and service entries receive extra attention (linear or point rates as per detail).

Underground water tanks: repeated treatment of compacted soil around the tank wall to the required depth.

Perimeter: trench, treat and backfill along the building line before final hard landscaping or paving - injection and spray rates follow the approved drawing set.

Critical penetrations: drains, ducts, expansion joints and utility sleeves are flooded or rope-sealed with emulsion as specified - quantities follow each detail on the BOQ.

  • Leave barrier strips graded, compacted and clear of timber, scrap and debris that would block even coverage.
  • Where the specification calls for it, cast concrete over treated horizontal soil within 24 hours; short-term UV/rain protection may use polyethylene - follow the engineer, product label and method statement.
  • Notify us at least 24 hours before each slot with area, date and time; have a minimum treatable area ready per visit (m² / linear m as agreed).
  • Sign job cards after each application so treated zones and quantities are recorded for QS and warranty.
  • If concrete is delayed beyond the allowed window after soil treatment, advise us early - a repeat pass may be required.
  • We may postpone treatment in saturated ground after heavy rain or where the water table masks the soil profile.

Share ground-floor structure drawings or CAD, pour sequences and backfill schedules so we can lock treatment dates with your site team. Temporary power, lighting and safe access to barrier strips avoid lost visits.

If slabs or perimeters are cast or backfilled without notice, continuity can break - those zones often need a post-construction package and extra documentation to stay inside warranty conditions.

Post-construction: when drill-and-inject is the right route

Once the shell is up or the building is occupied, we switch to approved post-construction products from the same municipality lists. A structured survey maps risk along slab edges, expansion lines and known service penetrations before we drill.

Typical detail: drill lines at centres commonly in the 45–80 cm range along internal wall–floor junctions (project-specific), with a 16–18 mm bit taken to depth until we reach soil or the void we need to treat. Emulsion pressure-injection follows label rates; dosage is expressed per square metre of slab edge zone as agreed on the job pack.

Ideal for villas, apartments, retail fit-outs and retrofits where pre-construction barriers were missed, disturbed during retrofits, or where monitoring shows activity along the perimeter.
